Any person who has ever done family research will be familiar with the ubiquitous brick walls, when it seems that there is no way to work out the solution to a knotty problem! Several brick walls have cropped up during my research for the Guestbook, and I am hoping that by putting them 'out there' other eyes and brains will be able to shed some light on these mysteries.

The first mystery is E Carr. This person signed the Guestbook on the same day as Gladys Harington and Frederick Warren Dillow, but as yet I haven't found any information to identify the correct E Carr.

The second mystery person is M M Murphy. They signed the Guestbook on the day before Godfrey P Collins and Eric Gilbey - does this mean that they were there with them or that there is no connection?

These pigs were signed on the same page but not the same day. I've looked at these signatures several times, and can't help but read them as Chapor Simpson and George R Newson. Unfortunately, I can't find any real life people matching those names!

Initially I thought I have solved the mystery of who A T Wright was - Albert Tomlinson Wright, a solicitor living in Weston Rhyn and competing with Mrs Lovett in vegetable growing competitions. Then I found out that he had died two years before the Guestbook was signed, and so I am back to the drawing board on this one!

The final signature that I need help with, is one whose entire entry is filled with mystery and the promise of an exciting story! Lena obviously had a rotten 24 hours, but who was she and what had gone so badly wrong? Several people have made suggestions, but none have panned out.

Any hints, tips and suggestions will be gratefully received!
